The Wheelchair & Pram Promenade!
From Silsden's Clog Bridge, go under the Canal into Hainsworth Road, (behind Bridge Inn). This is a fairly quiet and flat road. After you pass the new property, there are hedges each side, home to wild birds, in the bordering fields cattle graze. Continue along for a quarter of a mile to a road on the left, which leads up to the canal. Here we can choose to go left on towpath, taking the first turn-off on the left to get back to the start, or go over the canal up to Holden Lane, turning left back to the start in Silsden. The first part of this road has no footpath however! So keep to the right to face oncoming traffic and avoid being taken by surprise by traffic from behind!
